Michael Thorson, Founding Partner

For the past twenty years, Michael has brought his passion for serving the community and his fundraising skills to help a variety of organizations increase their revenue.

Some of the roles he has held  include Director of Development, Capital Campaign Manager, Social Media Engagement Manager, Director of Planned Giving and serving as a Board Member for the Boca Raton Children's Museum.   

Michael began his career as a fundraiser after reaching out to the Arthritis Foundation's Greater Chicago Chapter seeking guidance for his mother, who suffered from the disease. Two conversations later, he had the information he needed and was asked to direct the Foundation's signature special event. During his tenure, Michael significantly increased the event's revenue while transitioning many event participants into major gift donors. 

Since then Michael has served in a variety of fundraising capacities and leadership roles. He credits his time as a Capital Campaign Consultant with CCS Fundraising, however, for his no-fear approach to setting high financial goals, leveraging his effective fundraising & communication skills to motivate volunteers, and working both hard - and smart, to surpass his clients' expectations.  

Paul Keefe is a strategic thinker and experienced non-profit leader with deep roots in New York and Florida. 

Paul spent his early career building market success as a coffee franchise operating partner, developing strong leadership and marketing skills. In 2004, he shifted his focus to serving his community, taking on key roles in estate planning, development, and community relations at a local hospice. 

Paul's blend of business acumen and non-profit experience led him to co-found a consultancy that empowers nonprofit organizations with expert guidance and strategic advancement plans.

Paul has served on numerous boards over the past decade, holding leadership positions with prestigious organizations like ESRN, the National Council on Planned Giving, AFP, and Cypress Bend Protective Board. 

As a Founding Partner and Senior Consultant at PhilanthroPros, Paul combines his passion for helping the  community with his proven track record of success. He enjoys collaborating with non-profit organizations, guiding them towards sustainable revenue growth that fuels their missions.
